Leah has been an Athens resident since 1999. She is married to Michael Leggett, a co-owner of CertaPro Painters. She also fosters dogs through Athens Canine Rescue, which is a non-profit volunteer network of foster homes rescuing stray dogs in the Athens area and placing them in forever homes. In addition to working with stray dogs, she is actively involved with March of Dimes, Athens Area Art Council, and Hands on Northeast Georgia.
